Heard Mr.A.S.Dinesh, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.S.Gunasekaran, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent. With the consent of both the parties, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal. 2.This writ petition has been filed by the petitioner, for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent herein to grant permission to the petitioner to conduct dance and cultural programmes on 26.03.2015 at Sri Seethaladevi Mariamman Kovil, Savandappur (Post), Gobichettypalayam Taluk, Erode District. 3.In my view, there is no vested right for the petitioner to conduct dance programme in the eve of the Temple festival, moreso when the petitioner himself apprehends that there will be law and order problem. Therefore, no positive direction can be granted to compel the respondent to grant permission. Hence, the relief sought for is rejected. 4.The writ petition is dismissed. No costs.
