ORDER
The petitioner was an employee of Co-operative Society. The said Co-operative Society removed him from service on 10.04.1999. The petitioner was also tried before the Criminal Court in C.C.No.229 of 2003 and by an judgment dated 28.03.2023. The Criminal Court has acquitted the petitioner. Therefore, the petitioner is before this Court.
2. Be that as it may, the impugned order dated 10.04.1999 is passed by the Co-operative Society and as such the Writ Petition is not maintainable. Therefore, liberty is given to the petitioner to file a Revision before the appropriate Authority under Section 153 of the Tamil Nadu Co-operative Societies Act. As such the writ petition is disposed of on the following Page No. 2 of 5
terms:- (i) The petitioner will be at liberty to file a Revision before the Jurisdictional Joint Registrar of Co-operative Societies within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. As and when the same is file, the same shall be considered on its own merits as per law within a period of four months thereafter by affording due opportunity to the concerned Co-operative Society also.
(ii) No costs. Consequently, connected writ miscellaneous petitions are closed.
