Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issue of Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents 1 to 5 to remove the illegal encroachment made by respondents 6 to 11 and restore the original possession of the land allotted to the Fishermen Community to built their houses based on the petitioner's representation dated 13.06.2014.

O R D E R

(Order of the Court was made by The Hon'ble Chief Justice) No fresh material has been filed as stated on the last date, i.e.23.03.2015. We find it strange that the so-called affected fishermen have not approached this Court, but the plea on their behalf is sought to be advanced, styled as a Public Interest Litigation.

2.We are, thus, of the view that it is the affected parties alone who can approach the Court for redressal of their grievances in accordance with law and thus, we are not inclined to entertain this Public Interest Litigation.

3.Writ Petition is closed. No costs.
