ORDER

This petition has been filed to direct the respondent Police not to harass the petitioner under the guise of enquiry. 2.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the petitioner gave a complaint before the respondent Police by stating that he has to make certain payments to some of the persons and that they are threatening the petitioner. Pursuant to the said complaint, the petitioner has approached this Court and sought for a direction to the respondent Police not to harass the petitioner.

3.In the considered view of this Court, the petitioner was the one who approached the respondent Police by giving a complaint and therefore, the petitioner has to necessarily cooperate at the time of enquiry and it is not left open to the petitioner to come before this Court and seek for a direction to the respondent Police not to harass. The relief sought for by the petitioner is not maintainable and the petitioner has to necessarily co-operate in the enquiry conducted by the respondent Police.
