This writ petition has been filed challenging the notification No.228, dated 24.05.2019 issued by the second respondent in the respect of the ward No.188 alone as general constituency for women. 2.

Today when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the prayer sought for in this writ petition has become infructuous and nothing survive in this petition.

Considering the submissions made by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, the Writ Petition stands dismissed as infructuous. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed. There shall be no orders as to costs.
