Prayer in W.P.No.18668 of 2019: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India, seeking for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 2nd respondent to consider and pass orders on the appeal dated 07.05.2018 filed by the petitioner against the order of Censure vide Na.Ka.No.5010/A4/2015, dated 23.01.2018 passed by the 3rd respondent, in the light of the order passed in A.Palani Vs. COMMON ORDER The Writ Petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking direction to direct the second respondent to consider and pass orders on the representation of the petitioner dated 24.05.2018, with regard to transfer from Mangalore Union to Cuddalore Union (Parent Union). The petitioner has also filed another petitioner seeking direction to direct the second respondent to consider and pass orders on the appeal dated 07.05.2018 filed by the petitioner against the order of Censure vide Na.Ka.No.5010/A4/2015, dated 23.01.2018 passed by the third respondent.

2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that it would suffice if this Court issues direction to the second respondent to consider the representation dated 24.05.2018 submitted by the petitioner and dispose of the appeal within a reasonable time.

3.Considering the limited request made by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and without going into the merits of the case, I am inclined to issue direction to direct the second respondent to consider the petitioner representation and appeal and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4.With the above direction, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
