The grievances of the writ petitioner is that his entitlement for gratuity and interest for the belated settlement of contributory pension scheme amount and other benefits are not considered.
2. The writ petitioner was serving in the Madras University and retired as Professor and Head of the Department of Economics on 31.01.2014. However, the gratuity amount as applicable as https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
well as the interest for the belated payment of the retirement benefits are yet to be considered. In this regard, the writ petitioner submitted a representation to the 2nd respondent on 18.06.2018 and the same has not been considered so far.
3. Thus, without going in to the merits of the matter, the 2nd respondent is directed to consider the representation submitted by the writ petitioner on 18.06.2018 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
4. The writ petitioner is directed to enclose a copy of the representation and all relevant orders, if any, along with the order passed in the present writ petition. Accordingly, the writ petition stands disposed of. No Costs.
