Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 to 4 to cancel the patta standing with respect to the property admeasuring 3 Acre and 22 1/2 cents comprised in Sy. No. 162/2, Vadapuzhuthiyur Village, Tiruvannamalai Taluk and District, in the name of third parties and transfer of patta in the name of the petitioner by considering the representation dated 17.08.2021.

ORDER

This writ petition has been filed to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 to 4 to cancel the patta standing with respect to the property ad-measuring 3 acre and 22 1/2 cents comprised in Survey No. 162/2, Vadapuzhuthiyur Village, Tiruvannamalai Taluk and District in the name of third parties and transfer of patta in the name of the petitioner by considering the representation dated 17.08.2021.

2. The petitioner filed an appeal before the third respondent as against the issuance of patta in favour of the respondents 5 and 6 in respect of the property comprised in S.No. 162/2 ad-measuring 3 acre and 22 1/2 cents situated at Vadapuzhuthiyur Village, Tiruvannamalai Taluk and District and it is pending.

3. Considering the same, the third respondent is directed to consider the appeal filed by the petitioner and after issuance of notice to the petitioner and the respondents 5 and 6 and after giving opportunity of hearing to them, pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
