ORDER

Heard Mr.G.M.Anantha Kumar, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr. V.Jayaprakash Narayanan, learned Special Government Pleader accepting notice for the respondent and with their consent, the writ petition itself is disposed of at the admission stage itself.

2.The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking for a direction to the respondent to transfer the patta in his name by considering his representation dated 05.11.2014. 3.According to the petitioner, he is entitled to the grant of patta pursuant to the Judgment in OS.No.224/1996 dated 21.02.2001 on the file of the District Munsif Court, Denkanikottai. Though the Judgment of the Civil Court was passed in the year 2001, the petitioner has made a representation only in the year 2014. It is not known as to whether any appeal has been preferred as against the said Judgment dated 21.02.2001. Furthermore, the defendants in the suit, have not been impleaded as respondents in this writ petition. Therefore, no positive direction, as sought for by the petitioner, could be granted. the petitioner's representation dated 05.11.2014 on merits and in accordance with law.

4.Accordingly, there will be a direction to the respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 05.11.2014 on merits and in accordance with law, after notice to the petitioner and to the defendants in OS.No.224/1996, conduct an enquiry by hearing the parties in person and pass a reasoned order as expeditiously as possible.

5.The writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
