Respondents Prayer:- The Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, seeking for issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the first respondent to take steps to approve the 'Tamil Nadu Common Building Rules for Urban Local Bodies' in the line with the National Building Code (NBC-2005) as per the letter of the second respondent dated 31.10.2013 in Letter No.29262/MA1/2012-1 within a time frame. The learned Additional Government Pleader by placing a Government Order in G.O.Ms.No.18, Municipal Administration and Water Supply (MA.I) Department, dated 04.02.2019, would submit that request of the petitioner to include the 'National Building Code' in Tamil Nadu Common Building Rules for Urban Local Bodies, was incorporated viz., Provisions of the National https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

Building Code, 2016 and the Model Building Bye-laws, 2016 in the Tamil Nadu Combined Development and Building Rules, 2019 and hence, nothing survives for adjudication in this Writ Petition.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner is also affirmed the submission of the learned Additional Government Pleader.

3. In view of the above submissions, the Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. There is no order as to costs.
