Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the 2nd respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 22.05.2015 and make necessary changes in Town Survey Registry and issue Town Survey patta with respect to land comprised in old Paimash No.101/1 and 103/2 present survey No.89/1, TS.No.11 Block No.25 over an extent of 0.31.70.0 hectares (78 cents). By consent, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal.

2.The petitioner would claim that he is the owner of the land admeasuring an extent of 0.31.70.0 hectares (78 cents) in S.No.89/1, Kolathur Village, Chennai and the title can be traced from the sale deeds of the year 1941 and 1943 and pattas were also issued in their name. According to the petitioner, through settlement, lands were wrongly classified as "Anadheenam" and subsequently, rectified. However, in view of some third parties rival claim, the petitioner's land has been reclassified as https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

'Anadheenam'. The petitioner in this regard, has submitted a representation dated 22.05.2015, to the Tahsildar to rectify the said mistake by conducting a detailed enquiry and to issue a Town Survey Patta and since no response is forthcoming, came forward to file this writ petition.

3.Heard the submissions of Mr.M.Muthappan, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.R.A.S.Senthilvel, learned Additional Government Pleader, who accepts notice on behalf of the respondents.

4.Though the petitioner prayed for a larger relief, this Court in the light of the above facts and circumstances and without going into the merits of the same, permits the petitioner to submit one more representation to the second respondent along with a copy of this order as well as copies of the earlier representation, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and the second respondent on receipt of the same, is directed to consider the same in accordance with law and after putting on notice the persons concerned, pass orders within a further period of eight weeks thereafter and communicate the decision taken, to the petitioner as well as to the persons concerned. 5.The writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is also closed.
