Respondents Prayer: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 3th respondent namely the Joint Registrar of Cooperative Societies, Udhagamandalam, to dispose the Petitioner's objection Petition dated 09.01.2017 against non-waiver of outstanding agricultural loan with reference to G.O.Ms.No.59 dated 28.06.2016 within the time as may be prescribed by this Hon'ble Court, after calling for the records. The prayer sought for in the Writ Petition is to direct the 3th respondent namely the Joint Registrar of Co-operative Societies, Udhagamandalam, to dispose the Petitioner's objection dated 09.01.2017 against non-waiver of outstanding agricultural loan with reference to G.O.Ms.No.59 dated 28.06.2016 within a time frame.

2. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the Government vide G.O.MS.No. 15 Cooperation, Food and Consumer Protection Department, dated 08.02.2021 waived the entire agricultural loan obtained from the Cooperative Society, therefore nothing survives for adjudication.

3. Recording the submissions made by the learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner, the writ petition stands dismissed as infructuous. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed. No costs.
