measuring 0.05.0 hectares at 16, Karunakarachari Village, Poonamallee Taluk, Thiruvallur District.

ORDER
With the consent of both sides, this Writ Petition is taken up for disposal at the admission stage itself.

This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the second respondent to dispose of the petitioners representation dated 22.03.2024 sent by registered post and to pay the compensation amount of Rs.12,484.85/-(Rupees Twelve thousand four hundred eighty four and eighty five paisa only) along with interest under section 34 of the Land Acquisition Act and for reference under section 18 Land Acquisition Act pertaining to the lands in Survey No. 144/3B measuring 0.05.0 hectares at 16, Karunakarachari Village, Poonamallee Taluk, Thiruvallur District.
3. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Special 2/5
Government Pleader appearing for the respondents and perused the materials available on record.

The case of the petitioner is that amount of compensation has been deposited in Revenue deposit and in this regard, the petitioner has given a representation dated 22.03.2024 requesting that the said amount to be paid to them with interest. However, the representation of the petitioner was not considered by the respondents. Hence, this Writ Petition.
5. The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents would submit that the representation of the petitioner will be considered and Orders will be passed on merits.
6. Considering the limited relief sought for in this Writ Petition, the second respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner and pass Orders on merits within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this Order.
7. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No 3/5
costs.
