ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for direction to the respondents to disburse the payment of Rs.7,72,030/- on completion of contractual works assigned to the petitioner. 2.

The petitioner is a registered contractor and he was awarded 9 contracts during the year 2020-21. As per the terms and conditions of the works, the petitioner had deposited earnest money deposit for the contract awarded in favour of the petitioner. As per the completion of entire work, the petitioner submitted bills claiming the amount due and payable to the petitioner. However, the petitioner has not been disbursed the balance amount for the nine contracts so far. 3.

On instruction, the learned counsel appearing for the respondents submitted that now on the bills raised by the petitioner, audit

is going on and whenever it completes, they will disburse the balance amount payable to the petitioner.

In view of the above, the third and fourth respondents are directed to disburse the balance amount payable to the petitioner to the tune of Rs.7,72,030/- within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
