ORDER
By consent of both parties, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.
2.Mr.LSM.Hasan Fizal, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice on behalf of the first respondent.
3.This petition has been filed seeking a direction to the 1st respondent to forthwith consider and pass orders on the representation of the petitioner dated 29.04.2026.
4.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner's father, K.Duraisamy, was the absolute owner of the property, namely Nanja and Punja lands in Patta No.63 and 64 at Karapattu Village, Thiruvennainallur Taluk, Villupuram Disrict. Relying on the patta standing in the petitioner's name, the 2nd respondent executed a registered settlement deed dated 05.11.2025 in favour of her son Suraj Ganesh, who is the 3rd respondent herein. In this regard, seeking action against the respondents 2 and 3 under Section 83 of the Registration Act , the petitioner submitted a representation to the 1st respondent on 29.04.2026. However, the same has not been considered till date. Hence, the present writ petition has been filed.
5.Considering the limited scope of the relief sought for in this writ petition, notice to respondents 2 and 3 is dispensed with. 6.In view of the above, the second respondent is directed to consider the petitioner's representation dated 29.04.2026, after affording an opportunity of personal hearing to both the petitioners as well as the private respondents, and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
7.With the above direction, this writ petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
