The writ petition is filed challenging the charge memo issued by the first respondent dated 18.09.2014.

Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents, by relying on the counter affidavit, submitted that pursuant to the report of the disciplinary authority, the first respondent had issued the Government Order in G.O.(Ms.)No.189, Finance (Local Fund) Department dated 29.06.2016 and decided to drop the charges framed against the petitioner. 4.

In view of the same, the relief sought for in the present writ petition challenging the charge memo has become infructuous. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. 2/4
