The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner has submitted that the tenure of the petitioner as President of Panchayat is over, in view of the appointment of Special Officer for the Panchayat and she has also made an endorsement to that effect. Therefore, nothing further survives for consideration in the Writ Petition. Hence, the Writ Petition is dismissed as having become infructuous. No Costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
