(Order of the Court was made by M.M.SUNDRESH,J.) This public interest litigation has been filed by the petitioner seeking a direction to the respondents to build a Community Centre for Adi Dravidars in S.No.96/1A1, 1A2, 1A3 situate in Periya Karumboor village, Amboor Taluk, Vellore District.

2. Though a larger relief has been sought for by the petitioner, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that inspite of the fact that the local Panchayat has passed resolution in the year 2009 and the 3rd respondent has sent its communication in Na.Ka.K2/39362/10 dated 23.11.2010 to the 2nd respondent, no further progress has been made thereafter.

3. Taking into consideration of the communication of the 3rd respondent dated 23.11.2010, which is pending consideration with the 2nd respondent, we direct the 2nd respondent to pass appropriate final orders on the same within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
