Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, calling for the records relating to the General Instructions to the candidates appearing for Ph.D interview in No.PU/ENTRANCEEXAM/2016 dated 10.06.2016 along with the list of candidates for interview for the Course Code: 155 Ph.D Mass Communication for the academic year 2016-17 from the respondents university and quash the list of candidates selected for interview for the course code: 155 Ph.D Mass Communication made therein and consequently direct the respondents to call for the candidates for interview from SC/ST category following the general category.

ORDER

When the matter was taken up for consideration, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that subsequent to the filing of this writ petition, the prayer of the petitioner has been considered by the respondents and the petitioner has been admitted in Ph.D course in Mass Communication by proceedings dated 11.04.2017 and hence, nothing survives for adjudication in this writ petition.

2.Recording the same, this writ petition is closed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
