ORDER
The Writ Petition has been filed for direction directing the respondents 1 to 7 to consider and take action as required on representation dated 19.07.2021 / Notice dated 19.08.2021 within a time period as may be stipulated by this Court.
2. Heard, Mr.S.Haja Mohideen Gisthi, the learned counsel for the petitioners, Mr.S.Rajesh, Government Advocate appearing for respondents 1 to 4, Mr.Yogesh Kannadasan, Special Government Pleader appearing for respondents 5 & 6, and Mr.Mohammed Fayaz Ali, the learned counsel for the seventh respondent.
3. On receipt of the representation by the third respondent, the third respondent conducted enquiry and during enquiry, the third respondent called for report from the fourth respondent and the Revenue Divisional Officer. Thereafter, the fourth respondent conducted detailed enquiry and submitted his report dated 13.10.2021, thereby recommended to issue joint patta in the name of the petitioner for the land comprised in survey No.215/1 to an extent of 80 cents as per the sale deed registered vide document No.6276 of 2007 and the registered deed vide document No.18 of 2020, by cancelling the sub division made in survey Nos.215/1A and 215/1B. Further, the Revenue Divisional Officer, Ponneri by its communication dated 11.01.2022 had sent a report to the third respondent.
4. Considering the above, the third respondent is directed to complete the enquiry after giving opportunity of hearing to the petitioners and respondents 7 to 10 herein and pass orders
in view of the report submitted by the fourth respondent and the Revenue Divisional Officer, Ponneri, on merits and in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
5. With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No order as to costs.
