ORDER
The petitioner, who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 31.01.2025 for the alleged offences punishable under Sections 8(c) r/w 20(b)(ii)(C) of NDPS Act, 1985, in Crime No.29 of 2025 on the file of the respondent police, seeks bail.
2. The allegation is that the petitioner was arrested for possession of 21 kgs of ganja (commercial quantity) and he was remanded to Judicial Custody.
3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that though it is a case of commercial quantity, the mandatory provision of law not complied with and stated that he has been falsely implicated in this case.
4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent police reported that this is a commercial quantity. He further submitted that though the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that there is no violation of mandatory provision, the petitioner is having five previous cases against him.

5. Considering the nature of the allegation and also the fact that the petitioner is having bad antecedents, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.
