Heard Mr.K.Balu, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.A.Tamilvanan, learned Government Advocate, Pondicherry appearing for respondents and perused the materials placed on record. With the consent on either side, the Writ Petition itself is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage.

2.The petitioner seeks for a issuance of Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents to consider the representation of the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

petitioner dated 26.04.2012 to issue free house site patta S.No.96/37 an extent of 0.0030 HAC at No.71, Poornankuppam Village, Ariyankuppam, Puduchery Union Territory.

3. According to the petitioner, she has made request for grant of free house site patta and the same has been acknowledged in Tapal No.2413 and the same was pending. Therefore, the petitioner submitted a representation and the Revenue Officer has forwarded the petitioner's representation bearing Tapal No.2413 to the Director of Survey and Land Records/1st respondent for appropriate action.

4. In the light of the above, the 1st respondent is directed to take into consideration the petitioner's representation dated 26.04.2012, which has been forwarded by the Revenue Officer, Department of Revenue and Disaster Management dated 12.03.2013 and acknowledged as Tapal No.2413 and pass orders within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
