Respondents PRAYER: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents (1) to take into account of the services of the petitioner from 18.01.1984 to 17.01.1985 for awarding selection grade in the post of Lecturer / Mathematics from 18.01.1997 and

(2) on that basis fix the pay of the petitioner at Rs.14940/- in the scale of pay of Rs.12000-420-18300 on completion of 5 years of service in the Selection Grade w.e.f. 19.01.2002 and (3) grant consequential service and monetary benefits with interest. For Petitioner :
