The petitioner who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offences punishable under Sections 4(1)(aaa), 4(1-A) of T.N.P.Act, in Crime No.610 of 2021, seeks anticipatory bail.
2. The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner was found in possession of 110 litres of Pondy arrack. Hence, the complaint.
3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is an innocent person and no way connected with the alleged offence and she has been falsely implicated in this case. Hence, he prays to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
4. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submits that the petitioner is having 5 previous cases similar in nature. Hence, he vehemently opposed to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis

5. Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
