With the consent on either side, the Writ Petition itself is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage.

2.The petitioner has filed this Writ Petition for a issuance of Writ of Mandamus directing the respondent to measure the petitioner's land situate at Nirvallur Village, Kancheepuram Taluk, Kancheepuram District comprised in Survey Nos.52/7; 49/4; 359/2; 353/2 and 352/2 pursuant to an application dated 14.02.2014 and to issue patta. 3.According to the petitioner, they have purchased a land in question by a sale deeds dated 12.03.2010 registered as document nos.1190/10; 10.05.10 and 3550/10 and 03.09.10. The petitioner, now, seeks for grant of patta in his name by transferring the same from the name of his vendor, who has been issued patta no.675. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

4.In the representation, the petitioner has sought for two reliefs, namely, to grant patta and then, to measure the property and mark the boundaries. However, at the first instance, the petitioner has to obtain a patta and thereafter only the question of demarcation of the property will arise.

5.Accordingly, there shall be a direction to the respondent to consider the application for grant of patta by taking note of the documents produced and after issuing notice to the petitioner and other persons, who are likely to be aggrieved, pass necessary orders within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. If patta is granted to the petitioner, then, the petitioner is entitled to approach the authorities for surveying the property and fixing boundaries.

With the above observation, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
