This writ petition has been filed to quash the impugned proceedings dated 20/3/2014 issued by the third respondent in Ref.Re.No.11/DCP/MVM/Camp/2014 and consequently, direct the respondent authorities not to interfere with the activities of the petitioner Page No:2/4
association in collecting maintenance charges from its members for maintaining the common facilities in C.M.D.A.Truck Terminal Complex, Madhavaram, Chennai 600 110.
2. Heard Mr.S.Thanka Sivan, learned counsel for the petitioner, Mr.C.Manoharan, learned counsel appearing for the first respondent, Mr.G.T.Subramanian, learned counsel appearing for the second respondent and Mrs.R.Anitha, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the third respondent.
3. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that Mr.V.Vasudevan, President of C.M.D.A.Truck Terminal Complex Welfare Association, is no more.
4. Mrs.R.Anitha, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the third respondent submitted that no maintenance charges have been collected from the year 2013.
5. In view of the submission made by the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the third respondent, nothing survives for further Page No:3/4
