ORDER

The petitioner has filed the above writ petition to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent to consider his representation dated 13.03.2015 and to issue electricity connection to his shop situated in Plot No.69A, Moovendar Nagar, Noombal, Chennai-77.

2. It is the case of the petitioner that he gave a representation dated 13.3.2015 to the respondent to grant electricity connection to his shop. According to the petitioner, in spite of the representation given by him on 13.3.2015, the respondent has not considered the same till this date.

3. Mr.P.R.Dileep Kumar, learned Standing Counsel takes notice for the respondent and submitted that the respondent may be directed to consider and pass orders on the representation dated 13.03.2015, given by the petitioner, within a stipulated time.

4. Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side and also taking into consideration the limited prayer sought for in the writ petition, without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the case, I direct the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 13.03.2015 and pass orders, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of three weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

With this observation, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
