By consent of both sides, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

2.The case of the petitioner is that he was appointed as Development Officer, LIC of India with some conditions, in class II cadre (Development Officers) as provided for in the LIC of India (Staff) Regulation 1960 as amended from time to time. The petitioner served the respondent LIC of India for the past 30 years without any stigma and blemishes service. Due to hard work and stress the petitioner became a heart patient since 2000 and continued to be in hospital and various acute health problem the petitioner's performance gone down. Hence, the petitioner was relieved from the duty as development officer from the respondent corporation on 12.06.2017, on voluntary retirement. Despite his retirement, he was not given his retirement benefits and pension till date.

The petitioner is sending his representation and reminder after reminder, but the benefits were not paid. Hence, the petition.

3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that, it would suffice if a direction is passed to the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 12.09.2017 and 01.09.2018, within a reasonable time fixed by this Court.

4.The learned counsel appearing for the respondents would submit that they are yet to receive Vigilance clearance from the P & I R Department to settle the retirement benefits. 5.Thus, without going into the merits of the case, this Court is inclined to direct the 4th respondent to consider the representation of petitioner dated 12.09.2017 and 01.09.2018 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 6.With the above directions, the writ petition stands disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
