This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking direction to the learned Principal District Sessions Judge, Salem (Special Court for PCR Cases) to consider the bail application of the petitioners on the same day of the surrender pending in Cr.No.11of 2024 on the file of the respondent police.

2. In view of Section 15A of the SC & ST Act, the prayer in this petition cannot be acceded and therefore, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of with a direction to the trial court to consider the bail petition without any violations of the provisions of the Act. 27.06.2024 Vv 2/4
