College of Nursing, Guruvanna Devara Mutt, Near Binnyston Garden, Magadi Road, Bangalore-560 023, expeditiously
2. The grievances of the writ petitioners are that in spite of the production of the necessary certificates for the purpose of grant of educational loan to undergo B.Sc., Nursing Course for the academic year 2016-2017, the first respondent-Bank has not considered their application.
3. The fathers of the respective writ petitioners are Agricultural Coolies and having no other source of income. The writ petitioners got admission to B.Sc., Nursing Course and now studying the course. However, they are not in a position to meet out their educational expenses and in this regard, they made application for grant of educational loan with the first respondent-Bank.
4. This apart, the writ petitioners had submitted a representation to the District Collector, who in turn also forwarded the same to the first respondent-Bank. In spite of their efforts, the first respondent has not considered their case for grant of educational loan. Finally, representations were sent to the second respondent on 23.10.2017, 24.7.2017 and 24.7.2017 respectively by the writ petitioners.
5. Thus, without going into the merits of the matter, the first respondent-Bank is directed to consider the representations submitted by the writ petitioners on 23.10.2017, 24.7.2017 and 24.7.2017 respectively and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The writ petitioners are directed to enclose the copy of the representation and all other relevant documents along with the order passed in this writ petition.
6. Accordingly, the writ petitions stand disposed of. However, there shall be no order as to costs. s/d- Assistant Registrar(CS VII) True Copy Sub-Assistant Registrar
