The Civil Revision Petition is filed challenging the order passed by the learned Judicial Magistrate-II, Tambaram in Crl.M.P.No.117 of 2023 in D.V.C.No.42 of 2022, dated 13.12.2024 dismissing the petition filed by the petitioner seeking impleadment of the respondents 3 and 4 as a party respondents in the domestic violence complaint preferred by the petitioner in D.V.C.No.42 of 2022.

Against the impugned order passed by the learned Judicial Magistrate-II, Tambaram, the petitioner has got a effective remedy of filing an appeal before the jurisdictional Sessions Court under Section 29 of the Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act, 2005 as per the law laid down by the Full Bench of this Court in the case of Arul Daniel and Others Versus Suganya reported in (2022) SCC Online Mad 5435. Therefore, I am not inclined to entertain the present civil revision petition.
3. Accordingly, the Civil Revision Petition is dismissed with liberty to the petitioner to file an appeal before the jurisdictional Sessions Court. 2/4
The petitioner is entitled to exclude the time taken by her in prosecuting the matter before this Court (i.e., from 20.05.2025 to the date of receipt of copy of this order). No costs. Consequently, the connected civil miscellaneous petition is closed.
