Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuing a Writ of Mandamus directing the 1st respondent to consider and dispose of the appeal filed by the petitioner dated 24.12.2012 for the transfer of patta in her name within a specified period.

O R D E R

The petitioner has filed the above Writ Petition to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 1st respondent to dispose of the appeal filed by the petitioner dated 24.12.2012 seeking for the transfer of patta in her name within a time frame.

2. It is the case of the petitioner that though the petitioner has filed the Appeal as early as on 24.12.2012, the same has not yet been disposed of by the 1st respondent.

3. Ms. A. Mathumathi, , learned Special Government Pleader, appearing for the respondents submitted that the 1st respondent may be directed to dispose of the Appeal dated 24.12.2012, in accordance with law, within a time frame. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

4. Having regard to the submissions made by the learned Special Government Pleader,, taking into consideration the limited prayer sought for in the Writ Petition, without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the case, I direct the 1st respondent to dispose of the Appeal dated 24.12.2012. on merits and in accordance with law, after affording an opportunity of hearing to all the interested parties, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

With these observations, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
