ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by G.R.Swaminathan J.) Heard both sides.

2. The writ petitioner's husband is undergoing life sentence in Central Prison, Coimbatore. He went on ordinary leave and returned to prison on 29.05.2025. Even before the expiry of one year therefrom, the petitioner again applied for grant of ordinary leave for her husband. On this ground, her request was rejected. Challenging the same, this writ petition has been filed.

3. When the matter was listed last week, we adjourned the matter so that the one year period would expire.

4. The petitioner can renew her request before the second respondent and the second respondent shall grant 28 days ordinary leave

for the petitioner's husband subject to usual terms and conditions. The writ petition is disposed of accordingly.
