By consent, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal.

2. The petitioner claims to have purchased the property bearing Plot Nos.6 and 7 from the erstwhile owner ad-measuring to an extent of 2456 sq. ft., and 2640 sq. ft., vide document Nos.664 and 3785 of 1988 respectively comprised in survey No.247/2, situated at Maduravoil Village, registered on the file of the Office of the Sub Registrar, Virugambakkam. The petitioner had also purchased an undivided share of 1320 sq. ft., vide registered Document No.7155 of 2011 dated 07.04.2011 and when the petitioner moved the jurisdictional authority for

grant of patta, she came to know that the land has been classified as the land belonging to the Tamil Nadu Government. The petitioner, in this regard, has submitted a representation dated 14.07.2015 and the Revenue Divisional Officer, Ambattur vide memo dated 29.07.2015, in Na.Ka.No.1817/2015/A2, directed the third respondent to inform the action being taken and since no response is forthcoming, the petitioner has submitted a representation dated 16.05.2016 to the third respondent for issuance of patta and since no order has been passed, came forward to file this writ petition.

3. Heard the submissions of Mr.M.Kempraj, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.R.Govindasamy, learned Special Government Pleader, who accepts notice on behalf of the respondents.

4. Though the petitioner prayed for the larger relief, this Court in the light of the facts and circumstances and without going into the merits of the same, directs the third respondent to act on the memo of the second respondent dated 29.07.2015, in Na.Ka.No.1817/2015/A2, and dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 16.05.2016 in accordance with law after putting on notice the persons concerned and pass orders within a period of ten weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the decision taken, to the petitioner as well as to the persons concerned.
