O R D E R

A status report has been filed on behalf of the respondent that Dr.K.Narayanasamy, the Vice-Chancellor of Dr.M.G.R. Medical University, 1/4

Chennai had passed an order afresh on 26.06.2024 in Rc.No.EII(1)/33832/2007. The copy of the order had been forwarded to the Court.

2.

Learned counsel for the petitioner expresses some dissatisfaction over the manner in which the order had been passed and pointed out that the petitioner was not given any opportunity. He also pointed out that there has been no proper re-examination of the facts, but that the earlier order has been once again restated in the order dated 26.06.2024. The Court cannot sit on appeal over the order passed, but certainly can give an opportunity to the petitioner to agitate this particular matter in the manner known to law, if the petitioner is aggrieved over the same. Granting that particular liberty, the Contempt Petition stands closed.
