The petitioner is presently working as Cook. According to the petitioner, he is eligible for promotion to the post of Junior Assistant. The petitioner submitted a representation on 12.11.2014, requesting the respondent to promote him to the post of Junior Assistant. Since follow up action was not taken by the respondent, the petitioner is before this Court.

2. The respondent is directed to consider and dispose of the representation submitted by the petitioner dated 12.11.2014 on merits and as per law. Such exercise shall be completed within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

3. The Writ Petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
