Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a writ of habeas corpus directing the 2nd respondent to produce the body of Miss Kaviya, aged 23 years, before this Court and set her at liberty.

[Order of the Court was made by P.N.PRAKASH, J.] This petition has been filed seeking a direction to the 2nd respondent to produce the detenue viz., Kaviya, aged about 23 years, before this Court and set her at liberty.

2. Today, Ms.A.Indirani Sophia, Inspector of Police, Sathyamangalam Police Station, is present before this Court. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

3. The alleged detenue viz., Kaviya, is also present before us. When we enquired her, she stated that she is 24 years old; she has completed her B.Sc., (Horticulture) and that she is not in the illegal custody of her parents.

Recording the aforesaid submission of Kaviya, this petition stands closed.
