ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner, who was arrested on 19.07.2021 by the respondent police and remanded to judicial custody for the alleged offences punishable under Sections 8(c), 20(b)(ii)(B) of NDPS Act 1985 in Crime No.355 of 2021, on the file of the respondent police, seeks bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that on 19.07.2021, the petitioner along was illegally found in possession of 2.200 kgs. of Ganja, thereby, the respondent police registered a case against the petitioner.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is an innocent person and no way connected with the alleged offence and the petitioner has been falsely implicated in this case. Hence he prays to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

4. The learned Government Advocate submitted that the petitioner was found in possession of 2.200 kgs. of Ganja and there are 14 https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

previous cases pending against him. Hence, he vehemently opposed to grant bail to the petitioner.

5. Taking into consideration of the facts and circumstance of this case and the fact that the petitioner is a habitual offender and there are 14 previous cases pending against him. Hence, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.
