ORDER
Heard Mr.M.Ganesamoorthy, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.V.Jayaprakash Narayanan, learned Special Government Pleader accepting notice for the respondents and with their consent, the writ petition itself is disposed of at the admission stage itself.
2.The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking direction to the 2nd respondent to issue the Grama Natham Patta in
the name of the petitioner situated at Kottaram village, Avinangudi Post, Thittagudi Taluk, Cuddalore District comprised in Grama Natham in Re.Survey No.203 measuring an extent of 3 cents by considering the petitioner's representation dated 22.12.2014. 3.The petitioner would state that he belongs to Adi Dravidar Community and residing the property in question for several years and he has also paid necessary taxes and he has no other land or property for residential accommodation. The petitioner would state that the land in question is a Grama Natham land an as per the policy framed by the State Government, the Adi Dravidar persons are entitled for grant of free house site patta to an extent of 3 cents.
4.The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents would submit that the 2nd respondent may be directed to verify the full facts and thereafter, consider the representation on merits.
5.In the light of the above, there will be a direction to the 2nd respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 22.12.2014 after calling for a report from the 3rd respondent and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
6.The writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
