ORDER
Heard Mr.V.Gunasekar, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.M.L.Mahendran, learned Government Advocate accepting notice for the respondent and with their consent, the writ petition is disposed of at the admission stage itself.
2.The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking for a writ of mandamus to direct the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 14.07.2014 and 04.03.2015 to issue patta in favour of the petitioner with regard to the land in Survey Nos.61/4A and 61/4C at Perumulai Post, Thittagudi Taluk, Cuddalore District to the total extent of 73 Cents. 3.The petitioner's application for grant of patta was considered and the Village Administrative Officer was directed to submit a report and accordingly, the VAO has submitted his report on 14.07.2014 and it is stated that in the said report, the VAO has recommended the petitioner's application after considering the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
documents. Now, the matter is pending consideration before the respondent.
4.In the light of the above, there will be a direction to the respondent to consider the petitioner's applications/representations dated 14.07.2014 and 04.03.2015, for grant of patta, after issuing notice to the petitioner as well as to other persons who are likely to be aggrieved while considering the petitioner's applications for grant of patta and thereafter, pass orders on merits and in accordance with law. The above direction shall be complied with by the respondent within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5.The writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
