The case of forgery, cheating and falsification of document been registered on 13.03.2024 as per the direction of the learned Judicial Magistrate. The present petition is filed to fix a date for completing the investigation and file final report.
2. The learned Government Advocate(Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent police on instructions from the Investigating Officer submits that since the case revolves around fabrication of document, forgery and impersonation, the disputed documents are sent for expert opinion and on receipt of the report, investigation will be completed and final report will be filed.
3. In the light of the facts and the course of investigation disclosed by the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side), this Court is of the view that instead of fixing specific time limit, it is suffice to direct the respondent police to expedite the investigation process and file final report as early as possible.
4. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
