Respondents Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to send the petitioner for training as required under Rule 38(b)(ii) of Tamil Nadu Ministerial Service Rules, Annexure IX and consequently promote the petitioner to the post of Deputy Thasildhar on par with juniors with all consequential and other attendant benefits, by considering the representation dated 18.05.2016, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

The grievance of the petitioner that they were not sent for training as required under Rule 38(b)(ii) of Tamil Nadu Ministerial Service Rules, no longer survives, since it is stated by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner was subsequently sent for training in the year 20192020. 2.As such, no further orders are required to be passed in this writ petition and the writ petition is closed.
