Respondent Prayer: This Writ petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a Writ of Certiorari, calling for the records of the respondent relating to circular issued in letter R.No.67853/H2/2007 No:20/2008 dated 20/03/2008 and quash the same in so far as the petitioner's workshop under the same and style of Lingam Motro works at No. 194/55, KalaramPatti Main Road, Kitchipalayam, salem 15 is concerned. When the matter came up on 11.06.2018 it was represented by Mr.Sree Krishnan, learned counsel for the petitioner that Mr.N.Gopalakrishnan, learned counsel for the petitioner is no more and he sought two weeks time to argue the case. Hence, the matter was adjourned to 28.06.2018 and thereafter on 04.07.2018. When the matter was called on 04/07/2018 there was no representation on behalf of the petitioner. Therefore, the Registry was directed to post the Writ Petition today (05.07.2018) under the caption 'for dismissal'. Even today, there is no representation for the petitioner. petition is dismissed for non-prosecution. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. However, there will be no orders as to costs.
