ORDER
(Order of the Court was made by L.Victoria Gowri J.) This is a petition filed by the petitioner seeking to suspend the sentence imposed on him by the Armed Forces Tribunal, Regional Branch, Chennai by order dated 27.4.2026 in O.A.(Appeal) No.175 of 2018.
2. Heard the learned counsel on both sides..
3. The learned Additional Solicitor General appearing on behalf of the respondents submits that the petitioner is entitled to suspension of sentence.
4. In view of the above, this petition is ordered and the substantial sentence of imprisonment is suspended and the
petitioner is directed to be released on bail on his executing a bond for a sum of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees ten thousand only) with two sureties each for a like sum to the satisfaction of the Superintendent of Prisons, Central Prison, Madurai.
