[Order of the Court was made by P.N.PRAKASH, J] This Court, by order dated 09.10.2020 in W.P.No.14308 of 2020, has issued the following directions:

'4. This Court, taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case, without going into the merits of the case as projected by the petitioner either in the representation or in this writ petition, direct the 5th respondent to consider and dispose of the representation dated 13.05.2020 on merits and in accordance with law, and pass appropriate orders as expeditiously as possible, not later than ten weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, and communicate the decision taken to the petitioner.

This writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs.' Alleging non-compliance with the aforesaid direction, this Contempt Petition has been filed.

2. Heard Mr.S.Senthamizhan, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.S.John J. Raja Singh, learned Additional Government Pleader, appearing for the respondent.

3. Today, Mr.P.Dhayalan, Special Tahsildar, Adidravidar Welfare Department, Villupuram, [Mobile No. 94425 77719] is present.

4. Mr.S.John J. Raja Singh, learned Additional Government Pleader, submitted that the order of this Court dated 09.10.2020 passed in W.P.No.14308 of 2020 has been complied with, in that, the District 2/3

Collector, Villupuram, has passed an order dated 22.01.2022 assigning 0.10.0 hectares out of 1.39.0 hectares of Government poromboke land in Survey No.125/5 to the Adidravida Welfare Department for the purpose of burial ground for the Adidravida community.
