This petition has been filed seeking for police protection.
2. It is seen from records that the petitioners, who were in love with each other have married. This is an intercaste marriage. This is opposed by the parents and family members of the first petitioner and they along with relatives are causing threat to the petitioners. The petitioners had given complaints before the respondent police on 28.06.209, seeking for police https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
protection. Since no action has been taken, the present petition has been filed, seeking appropriate directions.
3. In the facts and circumstances of the case, there shall be a direction to the third respondent to immediately call the parties for an enquiry and advice the parents of the first petitioner not to interfere with the life of the petitioners. If, in spite of the same, any threat is exerted by the parents or relatives of the first petitioner, immediate action shall be taken against them and if necessary, police protection shall also be given to the petitioners.
4. This Criminal Original Petition is disposed of with the above directions.
