Heard Mr.G.S.Shivekumar, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.Manoharan Sundaram, learned Additional

Government Pleader appearing for the respondent. With the consent of learned counsel appearing on either side, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal.

2. The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking a direction to the respondent to issue a fitness certificate to the petitioner's vehicle bearing Registration No.TN-34J-3966. When the case came up for admission on 04.07.2016, the learned Additional Government Pleader was directed to get written instruction from the respondent. Accordingly, the respondent has promptly given the written instruction dated 04.07.2016 and the Personal Assistant to the Regional Transport Officer is also present in the Court. From the written instructions, it is seen that the petitioner was directed to produce certain documents and if the petitioner produces those documents, then the respondent will consider the petitioner's request for granting certification.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that he will instruct the management to produce the necessary documents, the vehicle as well as their entitlement to run the institution as on today. It is also submitted by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner that with regard to the renewal of recognition, the writ petition filed by the petitioner is pending before this Court.

Therefore, if the petitioner produces all the documents before the respondent, the respondent shall consider the same and pass a speaking order on merit and in accordance with law within a period of one week from the date on which the documents are produced. The writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
