ORDER

The Writ Petition has been filed for a direction, directing the respondents No.1 and 2 to consider the representation dated 18.10.2025 relating to inclusion of 3(2)(iv)(va) of the Scheduled Case and Scheduled Tribes (PoA) act in Crime No.664 of 2025 on the file of the Inspector of Police, Perundurai. 2.On a perusal of the representation submitted by the petitioner dated 18.10.2025, it is revealed that the petitioner is seeking alteration of F.I.R. by including the offences under SC / ST Act, in Crime No.664 of 2025. 3.If at all any material is available to alter the F.I.R. by including the offences under Sections 3(2)(iv)(va) of the Schedule Caste and Schedule Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, the 3rd respondent is directed to accordingly alter the offences and file a final report within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. It is also made clear that if the respondents 4 to 6 are also belong to SC / ST community, no offence is made out under SC /ST Act, against them.

4.With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
