Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for a writ of Mandamus directing the first respondent to dispose of the Appeal in Na.Ka.3379/2013 filed by the petitioner on 17.12.2013 at the earliest.

ORDER

Heard Mr.A.Ramu, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.V.Jayaprakash Naryanan, learned Additional Government Pleader accepts notice on behalf of respondents 1 and 2. In the light of the orders to be passed in this writ petition, notice to the third respondent is dispensed with.

2. The petitioner has filed an appeal before the first respondent, aggrieved by the grant of patta in favour of the third respondent in respect of the land in Survey No.190/1C. The appeal was enquired into by the first respondent, after notice to the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

petitioner and the third respondent on 05.03.2014 and statement was recorded from both the parties.

3. The grievance of the petitioner in this writ petition is that till date no final orders have been passed.

4. In the light of the above, without going into the merits of the petitioner's contentions, there will be a direction to the first respondent to consider the appeal preferred by the petitioner dated 17.12.2013 and pass reasoned order on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after affording one more opportunity to the petitioner and the third respondent.

5.The writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
