The petitioner herein is the informant/victim in the case registered by the Inspector of Police, Pazhavanthangal Police Station. After investigation of the FIR in Crime No.186 of 2019 dated 21.05.2019, charge sheet filed on 25.02.2021. The case was taken on file in C.C.No.488 of 2022. Till date there is no progress in the trial. Hence, the 1/4
petitioner is before this Court seeking direction to expedite the trial. 2.
From the records, this Court finds that the petitioner, as a victim has moved an application before the trial Court under Section 301
(2) Cr.P.C., to permit her to assist the prosecution and the said application is pending. The prosecution has filed the final report on 08.11.2022.
